A teacher for eighteen years with the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board, she has held different roles including classroom teacher, Special Assignment Teacher, Special Education Teacher, and Teacher-in-Charge. She also has two specialists in Reading and Special Education. This is Dawn's first children's book. She lives in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, with her husband, her two teenaged children, and her two goldens.
