Einen ganz besonderen Kick gibt Hünnebeck dem Krimi durch die rückwärtslaufenden Zeitangaben. Marcus Hünnebeck ist ein Nachwuchstalent, den man als Leser nicht aus den Augen verlieren darf. Ein Junge wird von einem Psychopathen entführt. Kommissar Peter Stenzel bleiben nur fünf Tage Zeit, das Leben des Kindes zu retten. Während die Stunden verrinnen, spitzen sich die Ereignisse dramatisch zu. Nach und nach wächst in Stenzel der Verdacht, dass sich der Täter mit diesem Verbrechen an ihm persönlich rächen will. Doch das wahre Ausmaß des teuflischen Plans offenbart sich ihm erst als es fast zu spät ist Der 11 jährige Fabian Groß wird entführt. Kriminaloberinspektor Peter Stenzel, dem die Ermittlungen für diesen Fall übertragen werden, merkt schon bald, das viel darauf hinzudeuten scheint, das dieses Verbrechen ein persönlicher Rachefeldzug gegen ihn ist! Der entführte Junge ist nur Mittel zum Zweck, denn der Entführer stellt Stenzel ein teuflisches Ultimatum Er hat 5 Tage Zeit, um Fabian zu finden - nach Ablauf dieser Stunden wird er den Jungen töten ! Während die Tage vergehen und alle Versuche, Fabian rechtzeitig zu finden, im Sande verlaufen, die Ermittlungsarbeiten nur noch vergebliche Mühe zu sein scheinen, werden Peter Stenzel allmählich die wahren Ausmaße des äußerst klug eingefädelten Planes klar und die Zeit ist fast schon abgelaufen Das lange Warten hat sich gelohnt Der 2. Roman von Marcus Hünnebeck entspricht meinen hohen Erwartungen, er hat tatsächlich wieder eine spannende und fesselnde Story geschrieben ! Im Gegensatz zu seinem ersten Roman Verräterisches Profil geht er es hier jedoch etwas sanfter an. Der klare und flüssige Schreibstil ermöglicht es dem Leser, schnell in die Handlung einzutauchen. Es macht Spaß, wie M. H. mit dem Leser spielt Er lässt ein Puzzlestück nach dem anderen auftauchen, aber nie erscheint ein eindeutig zu erkennendes Bild ! Viel mehr lässt er den Leser von einem Verdächtigen zum nächsten übergehen und die eigentlich logisch erscheinde Schlußfolgerung führt jedoch nur erneut in die Irre. Das mag ich an Marcus Hünnebecks Krimis, das man den Täter bis fast zum Schluß nicht zweifelsfrei definieren kann. Durch den Einblick in ihr nicht ganz unproblematisches und makelloses Privatleben, erscheinen seine Charaktere in einem realistischen und symphatischen Bild, das man gut nachvollziehen kann. Diese Miteinbeziehung gibt der Story noch einen Hauch von Wärme, die mir in manchen Krimis doch sehr fehlt ! Alles in allem ein gelungenes Buch, das ich nur weiterempfehlen kann !
