The Author: Sabine Heinz, born in Berlin, studied Russian, English, and Celtic languages at the Humboldt-University of Berlin and obtained her Ph.D. in Translation theory there. She has since lectured and published on various aspects of mainly Celtic, but also English and German in different countries. In 2003, she obtained her Habilitation in Vienna. Since 2004 she has been a visiting professor and head of the Department of Celtic Languages and Literatures in the School of English, A. Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland.
