Ingrid Klimke: the Olympic and world champion follows in the tracks of her famous father, the dressage legend, Dr. Reiner Klimke. She is the only professional rider in the world, who rides successfully at international level in both dressage and eventing. Ingrid Klimke has also taken the motto of Dr. Reiner Klimke, her father, firmly to heart, namely that “Riding should improve the beauty and strength of the horse”. With this in mind, she trains her horses to be as versatile as possible. Forcing young horses to specialise too soon can prevent them from developing to the best of their ability. Using a multi-disciplinary approach, she enhances skills and compensates for weaknesses. Under Ingrid Klimke’s tutelage, young horses learn with enjoyment and enthusiasm.
