Hanns Kerner

Professor Dr. Hanns Kerner, until 2014 leader of the Institute for Church Service of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria, has addressed the issues of the function of the church service and its order in the life of the congregations from very different perspectives. This collection of articles contains contributions to the history and the forms of worship, to issues of spirituality in worship, and to the analysis of a research project on the attitude of baptized Protestant Christians toward church service.
