Christel Weingart

Christel Weingart: Christel Weingart worked for more than thirty years as a self-employed crafts woman in England, the South of France and Germany. Born in East Friesia, she loves the stories of that part of Germany, being one of a few people who speaks and writes in “Plattdeutsch” (Low German, one of the reconnised endangered languages in the world). She has written and published several short stories as well as novels in german and worked as a translator for Radio and Film. Since her retirement she lives and works near Berlin concentrating on novels and theatre plays.
